I love me some Cornel West. Everything about him. From the gap in his teeth to his untamed mane. His intellect is beyond…beyond. And when he’s passionate about a subject, you feel it. As a part of the New York Public Library’s interview series, Dr. West held a dialogue with Jay-z and discussed his new book Decoded.
And here’s me with my copy of Decoded. Last night my friend and I took turns reading it to each other. I loved it and he felt that it left the reader with more questions than it actually answered. I thought Dream Hampton did a wonderful job mastering Hov’s voice and bringing him to life on the page. It’s clearly going to be a bestseller. And it’s a collector’s item with great illustrations, footnotes, and writing.
